Lesson 5c - qoph, q or q (hill slope)

The nineteenth uni-literal hieroglyph is called qoph.

It depicts a hill slope or the cross-section of a hill.

It is pronounced like the Arabic or Hebrew qoph , deep in the throat.

For convenience, English speakers can pronounce it like the q in "queen."
